REDWHYN was started by brothers Joshua (25) and Michael Hanson (20) in 2015 in their hometown of Prince George, BC (that's in Canada). They write and record their music - originals all - the two of them. Live, they both sing, while Michael works his magic on his 'home' instrument, bass, Joshua weaves the melodies with electric guitar, and talented local friends fill in.
They are recording their first album, a self-titled EP, with the help of their father Bob Hanson's Wooden Fish Studio, and Behind the Hat Productions, as of September 2016. They have already written several songs for their upcoming full-length record, which they will begin recording before the year is up.
Redwhyn is happy to welcome David Morgan as the drummer that completes the trio in their musical voyage.
