The Bremen Town Musicians
Maritime Marionettes presents the favorite folktale of an aging donkey who follows his dream to become a musician.  On the road to Bremen town, he befriends a dog, a cat and a rooster who, like him, are no longer needed as farm animals.  Together they form a comical quartet and a bond that will last the rest of their lives.
 
Maritime Marionettes, a self-contained touring company, has gained an international reputation for their artistic excellence and high quality family entertainment giving their audiences an opportunity to see a unique and ancient art form brought to life at the hands of two gifted puppeteers.
 
With a reputation that: "The quality of the performance and the characters are second to none! The artists to be highly professional, well rehearsed and skilled performers. The audience, including myself, sat in complete silence fully absorbed by the performance and story content. The puppets were extremely well crafted and contributed to the overall appeal of the performance." the Puppeteers Heather & Darryll Taylor continue to bring magic to their audiences.  Founded in 1986 with the goal of producing and touring quality marionette theater, the artists have produced and performed eight shows (six of these were translated and performed in French), developing a magical style of performing together. Their company has traveled nationally and internationally most recently to Dubai and Monaco, acquiring an international reputation for excellence in Marionette artistry.
 The company creates its productions from concept to finished product. This includes making and fashioning the marionette figures that feature in the shows to the sets, props and costuming of the productions.
