Axis Theatre is thrilled to bring to life THE TROLL GRANDFATHER by Clem Martini. This play for young audiences, is an epic adventure about a 9-year-old girl named Sandy Nardini.

Sandy is anxious this summer. She is being forced to stay with Grandpa Gren Nardini and there is nothing to do at his house in the mountains. To top that off he’s old and odd and doesn’t know her at all! Sandy suspects that her Mother’s ongoing health issues are the reason she’s been sent away and she is right.

Then one night, after choosing to sleep in the study to avoid the ants in her bedroom, Sandy uncovers the secret that has kept her Grandpa estranged for most of her life – Grandpa Gren is a Troll! Suddenly faced with a part of her identity she didn’t even know existed, the two set out on a dangerous journey to claim Sandy’s magical birthright, a blessing that could save her mother’s life or have dire consequences for their entire family.

Filled with mythology, magic, live music, a Troll and a 12 ft dragon!, THE TROLL GRANDFATHER, will delight and amaze your young theatre goers.
