In a classy, dynamic, and technologically advanced show, Double-Double uniquely fuses classical showpieces with rock, pop, jazz and world music. Performers Kornel Wolak (clarinet) and Michael Bridge (digital accordion), both internationally-renowned soloists, build their concerts around an arsenal of show-stoppers for corporate functions, weddings, festivals, theatre and live concert performances. Canadian Digital Accordion Champion, Michael Bridge has performed on three continents, soloed with the Boston Pops, and won the prestigious Calgary Stampede Talent Search, out of 300 young artists. Highly acclaimed for his musical imagination and astonishing versatility, Kornel Wolak’s solo music has been praised by numerous critics including John Terauds of the Toronto Star -- “control, and a smooth, elegant expressivity… are what make Wolak shine.” Together, Double-Double’s music is fun and fiery, sweet and seductive, as they push the boundaries of classical performance to the next level.
