The Juno-nominated John Wort Hannam Band is made up of four friends who get excited about performing and the art of making music.  Acoustic, lyrically driven music that features soaring vocals and blistering solo performances on  guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, lap steel, and upright bass.  This is a true fusion of roots music, with influences of spaghetti western, folk, celtic and the likes of John Prine, Stan Rogers, and Gordon Lightfoot.

Raw, live performances are what the John Wort Hannam Band live for. They spend much of the year driving across North America to perform at clubs, theatres and festivals.  With performances at the famed Kennedy Centre in D.C., The Smithsonian, Trafalgar Square, the London Olympics, and the grandaddy of songwriting festivals - the 21 day Kerrville Folk Fest in Texas - John Wort Hannam Band is sure to satisfy the roots music ache in your belly...
