Carly Rae Jepsen is a Canadian singer/songwriter from Mission, BC. In the summer of 2007 she was chosen as a contestant on the fifth season of Canadian Idol, placing third and playing to thousands of fans on the subsequent Idol Top 3 Tour. September 2008 saw the release of her full-length album, Tug Of War, with both the title track and subsequent single, “Bucket, ” recently becoming Certified Gold singles. Regularly touring across the country to support this release, Carly’s intimate and fun live performances showcase her warmth and rapport with the audience. Having played large festivals—Virgin Vancouver Festival, Green Toronto Festival, and the Life Is Good Toronto Festival to name a few—as well as concert halls such as Massey Hall and the Vogue Theatre alongside Marianas Trench, has given Carly the stage presence and charisma of an artist twice her age.
